Why Doctor of Chiropractic?
I came from a line of medical minds. Originally I wanted to be an Orthopedic Surgeon but after my sports injuries and learning how to prevent surgery, I changed to be involved in a profession that helps others recover and heal naturally.
Why specialize in Sports Rehabilitation?
Being active my entire life, at age 5 I was in soccer, ballet, and tap, I had my first debilitating injury at age 15 playing basketball. That was the moment that changed my life and I started to take better care of myself, so I wouldn't be sitting out anymore with injuries. I was able to play golf, soccer, and basketball throughout high school, then continued to play 4 years of division II soccer and 2 years of division II basketball at Moorhead State University. I have completed 3 Marathons 1996, 1997, 2001; 2 Half-Marathons 2006, 2007. Personally I have gone through a list of injuries and have experienced much of what comes through the door.
